Day 03

08.30 AM Indian Breakfast • 10.30 AM After Breakfast Proceed for Kok Tobe • Kok-Tobe. It is a mountain which is the highest point of Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. There is a popular recreation area on top of the mountain. The mountain’s height is 1100 meters above sea level. Koktobe is one of the main landmarks in the city, and it is popular among visitors and tourists to Almaty. • The Kok-Tobe recreational area has a variety of amusement park type attractions and restaurants. It is connected to downtown Almaty by a cable car line. The City Terminal is located near Hotel Kazakhstan. Also, there is a 372 meters tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain. Day 04

Breakfast 07:00-10:00AM · Transfer to excursion at 10:30 AM · This tour provides you the best opportunity to see the beautiful mountain surroundings of Almaty city. The first stop of the tour awaits you in the Medeo Gorge, where in the wonderful mountains of Trans-Ili Ala-Tau the largest high mountain skating rink in the world is located as well as the huge dam, protecting the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan. Next destination is Chimbulak ski resort (Cable Car Fee Included till 3rd Level), located at an altitude of 2230 meters above sea level. Day 05

Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, met by representative and transfer to Hotel. Check-in to Hotel.

Day 06

Ateshgah Fire Temple The guide will pick you up either from Sahil metro exit or your accommodation (has to be specified in “Extras” during checkout) and start heading to the ancient zoroastrian temple “Ateshgah” which is considered as an authentic Azerbaijani exotic site to visit. It is located approximately 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany. You will learn a lot about the temple from your guide, particularly, more about the history of creation of such a temple in Baku and unique natural phenomenon of burning natural gas outlets. Yanar Dagh (“Burning Mountain”) In the second part of visit, after visiting the temple you will go directly to “Yanar Dag” (“Burning Mountain”), located not too far from Ateshgah Temple. It is the most famous and popular tourist site of the “eternal flame” in Azerbaijan. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.

Day 07

The tour will start off from Gobustan Museum, where you will see ancient human bones, work tools used back to thousand years ago during the Mesolithic period. Gobustan geographical region is situated in the west-south of Baku. The meaning of the word «Gobustan» is derived from two words «gobu» – «ravine» and «stan»- «place», i.e. ravine area. The word «gobu» is also of Turkic origin and means «a dried up river valley». After visiting Gobustan Museum, you will advance to the mountain in order to see real rock paintings in the open air museum. Later on, the tour will proceed to the Mud Volcano which is 20 mins away from Gobustan National Museum. Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. About 300 mud volcanoes are to be found in Azerbaijan – at the shore, in the sea and on islands. During this trip you will get a great chance to see these rare and active volcanoes from very close distance. Your tour will end at drop you off at your hotel.

Day 08

GABALA TOUR On the next day, boost your appetite with fresh and juicy breakfast. We will visit second major destination, Gabala, a city surrounded by Caucasus Mountains. We will go to Tufandag Summer-Winter Complex and take a cable car to enjoy the view of some high points of Greater Caucasus. Later, we’ll head to Nohur Lake in Gabala. Enjoy the beautiful nature of Nohur. We will visit to Yeddi Gozel Waterfall – The name of the waterfall means seven beauties. There are seven steps to go up the mountain. The waterfall is situated in the wood near the main road near West of Vandam. Although the waterfall is hard to climb, it is worth visiting. Each year thousands of people visit the waterfall. Day 09

BAKU CITY AND OLD CITY WALKING TOUR On the next day, boost your appetite with breakfast, as it’s time to say goodbye to Gabala. We will head to Baku.
